Mario Lopez
Actor Mario Lopez joined MMA in 1981, the
school's founding year. With the commercial
and acting skills he received here, he has carved
an exciting career as an actor. You have seen
him playing the character A.C. Slater in Saved
By The Bell on TBS.
In
his past accomplishments, Mario has been a regular
cast member on Kids, Inc. and made guest
appearances on The Golden Girls, and
Simon and Simon. He has been cast in
the title role of the soon to be released film
Breaking The Surface: The Greg Louganis Story.

Smith
Jason started his career studying with Dru Scott
in 1982. Since then he has worked consistently,
and can be seen on many commercial spots including
Plax Mouth Wash, Nissan Trucks, 7 Up, Budget
Rental Cars and more.

Carey
Scott
Carey has enjoyed a wide range of roles in TV,
film, and stage. He trained under legendary
acting teacher Stella Adler. As an actor, his
co-stars include: Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Whoopi
Goldberg, Madonna, Chuck Norris, Tom Hanks and
many others. Carey has been under contract with
MGM, Paramount, United Artists, Disney, 20th
Century Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC, Columbia, Universal,
Warner Brothers.

Fiss
Tom Fiss started his career at MMA. His
first job was a key part in the musical production,
The Full Monty, which opened in San Diego.
When the play went to Broadway, Tom, age 12,
went with it and enjoyed a 6 month run in New
York.

Alex
Michael
Alex
Michael retired from his job with the City of
San Diego and started his acting career at MMA.
He landed an agent and picked up parts with
Stu Segal Productions in such TV series as Pensacola
and Prodigal Son. He has done numerous
Industrial Commercials and can be seen as the
Vice President in the blockbuster film Pearl
Harbor.

Torrey
Ann Cook
Torrey
Anne Cook started her career at MMA at the age
of 7. Her training under Dru led to numerous
parts in TV commercials. This was followed by
a starring role as Debbie Pfieffer in TV's The
Wonder Years, as the love interest of Kevin
(Fred Savage). She has been in local productions
at Starlight Theater.

Ryan
Drummond
Ryan Drummond is a busy San Diego actor who
credits MMA with the sound fundamental training
that began his career. He stars in a long running,
local musical, Forever Plaid and can
be seen in musical productions at SeaWorld.
He is contracted by the baseball Padres for
a series of commercials based on a character
he created.

R. Alburger
James Alburger is a teacher of Voice Over
Commercial Acting in San Diego, and is a former
student of Dru's in these techniques. He also
has prior experience in audio production.
