Dru
Scott has been teaching Commercial Acting and Voice-Over
in San Diego for over 28 years. Her school is a place
where you will develop your talents and learn the
business aspects of our profession… including
AGENTS, DEMO TAPES, AUDITIONING, MARKETING and more.
You
will also learn what not to do… and how to recognize
costly "extras" that some schools will pressure
you to buy, such as Magazines, Video Demos, Photography
Portfolios, and more. We will show what is expected
of a professional in the legitimate business of TV
Commercials.

Dru
Scott has many credits in the field of Voice-Over
and Commercials and has done spots for Fischer-Price,
Orion Computers, American Airlines, Cadillac,
Merrick College, the US Navy, and many more. Dru
is a vocal producer and works with many recording
studios in Southern California and has appeared
on TV series such as 18 Wheels of Justice.
She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, and the National
Speaker's Association. Dru has taught and lectured
for the Screen Actor's Guild, San Diego School's
Gate Program, Del Mar Media Arts, Grossmont College
and also works with corporate executives and professional
speakers to help develop their vocal skills.
Dru is licensed by the State of California Department
of Education to teach Voice-over and has started
the careers of TV personalities Mario Lopez (Saved
by the Bell), Carey Scott (Making the Grade, 21
Jump Street), Torrey Anne Cook (The Wonder Years),
and Tom Fiss (The Full Monty). |

Griffiths

Bill
Griffiths is a guest artist who teaches class
on Broadcasting technique. He is one of San Diego's
best-known TV personalities, as news anchor for
ABC affiliate Channel 10. He has also hosted Good
Morning San Diego and other talk and
news shows. Bill's "hands-on" teaching
style is popular and informative for students. |

Scott
Higbey is the principal director of Studio C,
an Emmy award winning sound studio. Each voice-over
student works with Scott at Studio C, receiving
microphone direction while working in a state
of the
art sound studio. |
Carey
Scott

Carey
Scott is the owner of The Rehearsal Room,
a dramatic acting school affiliated with MMA.
Students have the option to learn dramatic acting
technique with Carey at his school, expanding
their skills. Carey was trained by legendary
acting coach Stella Adler and has been a member
of SAG, AFTRA and Equity for 24 years. As an
actor, Carey has co-starred with Brad Pitt,
Johnny Depp, Whoopi Goldberg, Madonna, Chuck
Norris, Tom Hanks, Alan Alda, Martin Lawrence,
Alec Baldwin and many others. He has starred
in such features as Making the Grade,
Snoops, Walker, Texas Ranger,
Top Dog Diving In, 21 Jump Street,
etc.

Gordon
Jump was associated with the school since
its inception. He helped create the content of
the Courses and before his passing he previously taught there as
a full time instructor. He was an advocate
for what the school teaches and endorsed its content
and its mission, as well as its teaching staff.
Gordon was best known for his roles in WKRP in Cincinnati
and as The Maytag Man on
TV. We miss him. |
